Gleaning the Harvest is the creative work of Matt and Jacque Dixon and their family. It is God-inspired and supported by those who believe in its cause.

Matt and Jacque have been Believers and been married for 20 years and have eight children, ranging in age from 19 years down to 2 years, and expecting another! Matt works as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service and also a delivery driver for Lowe’s and knows what it takes to work hard to support a family.
You will find Jacque at home, managing her home and Little hands, teaching home school, and reading the Bible and tales about Jemima Puddleduck and Peter Rabbit. She also enjoys talking html and blogging with her children, managing and writing for the family Training Children websites, Training Daughters, Teaching Wives with her daughters and Training Sons to Be Men with her son, Eric. Jeremiah 6:16

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and Walk Therein and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Miss Amanda is a home school graduate, furthering her education at home, and oldest in the Dixon family. She is chief errand runner, grocery menu maker and shopper, laundry queen, and organizational gal. She enjoys secretary work, site designing, movies, and blogging. As the Assistant to the Directors here at Gleaning the Harvest, she is a valuable asset to the Mission. She is the Assistant Editor and columnist for Training Daughters Teaching Wives, and News Correspondent. She also does site maintenance on Gleaning the Harvest. Miss Jocelyn is a homeschool graduate with a passion for writing truth, furthering her education at home. Studying the WORD, keeping the home, and her writing keep her busy, along with her four-legged friends, a small herd of Nubian goats. As the Advertising and Marketing Manager, Jocelyn helps manage the Gleaning the Harvest website and also is the contact and creator or Ads.
She blogs from her heart at A Pondering Heart, dresses blogs at A Pondering Heart Boutique, owns and operates Feelin’ Feminine, and is the Sr. Exec. Market- Manager for Training Daughters Teaching Wives.

Rachel enjoys reading, cooking, baking and sewing and is the sweetest to serve her dear mother tea in the late fall and winter evenings. Chief dish washer, goat maiden and reader of Beatrix Potter, Rachel is a wonderful sister. A sweet spirit and intentional writer, she journals at home and on the web and is a columnist for Training Daughters Teaching Wives.

Sir Eric is a soon-to-be a young man 12yo boy who never gets worn out. He has the tenacity and hope we can only dream of, and yet still struggles to take out the trash each day.

The Dixon Littles include Miss Hannah, Isaac, Caleb and Little Lucy. While they do help with barn chores, dishes and vacuuming, their main jobs include sitting in laps listening to stories, singing songs, and playing with Legos and Baby Dolls.

Jeremiah 29:11-14

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD:

Having always home schooled their children and found living it as the only way to keep their children’s hearts, the Dixon family is very much believers of homeschooling. They are encouraged by what God is doing in their lives and are waiting in anticipation to see how God will use Gleaning the Harvest to bless His people.
