    Wow, I could relate to so much of what you wrote. We went through a period of having no income for over 4 years. My husband lost his job, and then the Lord told him not to seek another job. Nobody understood, but God still used a few faithful brothers and sisters to sustain us during that time. The government programs ended up causing us way more trouble than the good they did us. I commend you for trusting God in the face of pressure to go to the government. You are doing what God wants you to do. Stand strong. He will provide. He is pleased with you. Your faith makes him happy.
